Privacy Policy

keystone holds personal things: the habits you are building, when you check in, and the reasons you wrote down. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, how we use it, and the control you have over it.

Last updated July 12, 2026.

What we collect

We keep only what is needed to run your habits and send your reminders.

  • Your routines and habits, including their names, cues, and cadence.
  • Your check-ins: whether you did the full thing, the tiny floor, rested, or missed a day.
  • The why you wrote for a routine, and your weekly reflections.
  • Your reminder settings and, if you turn them on, the notifications for this device.
  • Your email address, which we use to sign you in without a password.
  • If you upgrade to Pro, your subscription status. Payment details are handled by Stripe, not stored by us.

How we use it

We use your information to run the core of keystone: to schedule your habits, show your consistency, send the reminders you asked for, and write your weekly reflection.

Our analytics are first party and privacy respecting. We look at how the product is used in aggregate to make it better, and nothing more.

We never sell or share your data

Your behavioral and wellness data is yours. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. Ever.

The only companies that touch your data are the ones we need to run the service, like our email and payment providers, and only to do their job.

No third-party trackers

keystone carries no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs. There are no ad pixels and no cross-site trackers following you around. Our analytics stay first party.

Deleting your data

You can delete everything, whenever you want. From Settings you can delete your account, and we erase your routines, habits, check-ins, reflections, and reminder settings for good, with nothing left behind.

How we protect it

We sign you in with a one-time link and code instead of a password, so there is no password to leak. Your account is kept separate from every other account, and your data is protected in transit and at rest.

Questions

If you have a question about your privacy or your data, reach out and we will help. We may update this policy as keystone grows, and we will change the date at the top whenever we do.
